got2eat is an informational app. Restaurant listings, dish prices, hours, and deals are submitted by community members and may be out of date, incorrect, or no longer available. We do not verify prices or operating hours in real time.

The app is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or availability. Always confirm prices and availability directly with the restaurant before visiting.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to:

• •Visiting a restaurant that has closed, changed prices, or changed menu items
• •Food safety, allergies, or dietary issues at any listed restaurant
• •Any loss incurred based on information displayed in the app
• •Interruptions, bugs, or downtime of the service

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the app shall not exceed $0, as the service is provided free of charge.

When you submit a restaurant, dish, photo, or deal to got2eat, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute that content within the app. You confirm that:

• •You have the right to submit the content (e.g. photos you took yourself)
• •The content is accurate to the best of your knowledge
• •The content does not infringe any third-party rights

We reserve the right to remove any submission at our discretion. We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive behaviour: content that is offensive, harassing or otherwise objectionable is removed, and the people behind it lose their access. You can report any content or person from inside the app, and reports are reviewed promptly. We are not responsible for the accuracy of user-submitted content.

You agree not to:

• •Submit false, misleading, or spam listings
• •Manipulate votes or ratings using bots, scripts, or coordinated activity
• •Attempt to access, scrape, or overload our systems
• •Use the app for any unlawful purpose

We may suspend or ban accounts that violate these rules without notice.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By signing up, you confirm you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm you have parental consent to use the service.

We may send you transactional emails (e.g. account security notices). We will only send marketing or deal notification emails if you have explicitly opted in. You can opt out at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe link in any email.

The app uses Google for authentication and data storage, OpenStreetMap and OpenFreeMap for map tiles, Geoapify for restaurant search, OpenStreetMap's Nominatim for neighborhood lookups, the Google Places API for restaurant opening hours, Google Analytics for usage measurement, and Vercel for hosting. Your use of the app is also subject to those services' terms. We are not responsible for the conduct of third-party services.

got2eat is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any restaurant, chain, or deal provider listed in the app unless explicitly stated. Deal prices and availability are subject to change by the restaurant at any time. We are not responsible for any discrepancy between what is shown in the app and what a restaurant charges.

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the service at any time, for any reason, including violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at jaison@tangible.trade.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be noted with an updated effective date.
